But it get's better...
"I've always been a huge fan of teachers on Instagram. It's great inspiration, a way to find new ideas, and to network with other teachers!" Mrs. Morgan told Bored Teachers. "I wanted to push it a bit further with having a visual image to connect to the question so "ta-da!" and I've been creating one every day this school year!"
"I try to make them fit with every day of the week, a quote, or a character where a question can relate to the topic."
"Since I've started, I've actually only thrown away 5 black expo markers. If you store them upside down, they last longer. I bought the Amazon Basic 12 color set- they are amazing!"
When a friend posted Morgan's Key and Peele 'Substitute Teacher' drawing to Imgur and Reddit, it got over 450,000 views between both sites, and was in the top 10 of Reddit's Funny category that weekend.
"I've been creating one every day this school year! I love reading my student's answers, it helps me know a little more about them each day in a really fun way. Sometimes they write things just to see what I'll say, but then we end up having good conversations about their answers."
"On average 5-20 minutes, depending on how many colors, how large, or how detailed it is. I'm lucky to be on block schedule so I can draw them when I start my plan time or when my advanced classes are working on projects."
