Full-time Remote/WorkWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an essential part in helping us grow strategic partnerships with companies and organizations that align with our audience of educators. You will assist in identifying potential partners, pitching our partnership opportunities, and supporting the sales team in coordinating and managing these partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and partnership management while working with a passionate, fun team.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Research & Outreach: Identify and research potential aligned partners within the education and lifestyle space. Develop outreach strategies and craft personalized emails to introduce Bored Teachers’ partnership opportunities.
Pitching Partnerships: Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored pitches for potential partners, presenting Bored Teachers’ value and audience engagement capabilities.
Sales Call Support: Shadow and assist the sales team on live sales calls with potential partners. Take notes, follow up with prospects, and provide general support during the calls.
Partnership Coordination: Assist in the onboarding and coordination of new partners, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of agreed-upon terms and expectations.
Achieve and Exceed Goals: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as outreach targets, lead conversion rates, and revenue contributions.
New Speaker Acquisition: Actively research, contact, and onboard new speakers, comedians, and entertainers to expand our speaker bureau, Teacher Speakers’ roster. This includes identifying emerging talent, and conducting outreach.
Event Sales & Promotion: Proactively identify opportunities for upcoming school events or professional development sessions where our speakers can add value, and pitch relevant speakers to secure bookings.
Qualifications:
Sales Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in sales or business development, ideally in digital, media, or education-focused industries.
Education Background (Preferred): A background in education, whether as a teacher, administrator, or in an educational sales role, is a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling emails and presentations.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and proactively while being part of a collaborative team.
Salary: Base salary + Bonuses + Accelerators
