Thirty million children in the US rely on school for food. School closures are devastating for so many across the globe, on a much deeper level than just academically. Celebrities are taking to Instagram in waves in partnership with @SAVEWITHSTORIES, posting videos of themselves reading children’s books to entertain families and kids who can’t attend school. @SAVEWITHSTORIES is a new fund created by @savethechildren and @nokidhungry to support kids in need while schools are shut down. Every donation supports food banks, mobile meal trucks, and community feeding programs with funds and educational toys, books, and worksheets to make sure brains are full, as well as bellies.
