Yup. At a rally in El Paso, Texas yesterday, Donald Trump Jr. literally said this…
Keep up that fight, bring it to your schools. You don’t have to be indoctrinated by these loser teachers that are trying to sell you on socialism from birth. You don’t have to do it.”
Hear it for yourself:

Well, as you might imagine, teachers and parents took to Twitter to express how they feel about this offensive jab at our selfless, hardworking educators!

Well, here’s a few things this #LoserTeacher managed to accomplish today: rounded up and got 60 10- and 11- year olds from the chaos of lunch into tornado-safe position in about 3 minutes flat, taught subject and predicate, self-assessment, opinion writing essay structure…

Proud to be one of the #LoserTeachers “indoctrinating” my students with lessons that teach critical thinking, communication, mindfulness, & empathy. I teach my students to write, to question, to imagine, to visualize the words in the books we read & the future they wish to lead.

@DonaldJTrumpJr I am a #loserteacher who indoctrinates her students with the ability to research all sides of an argument and make educated decisions. What do all the other #loserteachers teach? @NDUnited

As a #loserteacher I promise to continue teaching my students to question what others say and write, look for reliable evidence and support as the foundation for any argument, and be weary of those who insult the opposition in attempt to discredit them.

The IRONY. I am proud to teach my students to think critically. This scares people like him because they lose power when the public is educated. They can’t fool students who are taught to think for themselves. Proud to be a #LoserTeacher https://t.co/WncFTtqIaw

This #loserteacher has nightmares about her students every night: will they be okay? Will they eat? Are they cold? Will they remember their homework? How can I encourage them? What do they really need? #LoserTeachers @DonaldJTrumpJr @GOP @AOC

Silly me! I can’t believe I forgot to indoctrinate my students today! I must have been too busy being a #LoserTeacher who encourages choice in reading, focuses on critical thinking during chess club, and gets hugged by a parent for caring for her child ♡ https://t.co/2haMDEoQcR

At my school we teach kids how to think critically, we provide them with clothes and food, we help their parents pay bills. We also take them in as foster placements, celebrate their successes, expand their world view, and give them love. ??♀️ #loserteacher @DonaldJTrumpJr

Stayed late at work & I’m still gonna sit down & grade 48 tests before dinner. Then I’m going to raid my son’s art supplies to use for a lesson rather than spending more $$ on classroom supplies. Tomorrow I’m going to motivate children to learn, like I do every day. #loserteacher

I’m proud to be a #loserteacher! Because teaching kids to love and value the fine arts and to find their place where they are loved and accepted and can shine makes me a loser, right @DonaldJTrumpJr?

This #loserteacher is giving her students the freedom to discover and explore their passions. This #loserteacher is cultivating project managers, writers, designers, innovators, problem solvers, questioners, push-backers, boat-rockers who will change this world. #LoserTeachers

I am a proud “#loserteacher.” Teaching children to care about each other and be better human beings is something to be proud of. To all the other loser teachers out there, I stand with you, I am proud of you, and your students appreciate you even if the politicians don’t.

Being the father of a “loser teacher”, I can say that my daughter does more in one day for her students and society than a born to wealth spoiled child that profits off the backs of the middle class and poor. Proud of all #LoserTeachers

Hey Jr., I’ve been teaching for 15 years and never once have I witnessed the teaching of socialism! I have however witnessed the teaching of RESPONSIBILITY, EQUALITY, and CIVIC DUTY, as in it’s our right to vote someone in that’s not a complete idiot!!

I taught elementary school for 28 years. I never thought of any child – or guardian – as a loser. They never thought of me as one. So please don’t take offense if I don’t believe YOU. You’re nothing in the scope of my life. Or anyone’s.
21.
Loser teachers. Nice.
— ❤️ (@IamAwarriorsFan) February 12, 2019
I am a first year teacher. I have to buy my own supplies for my students to even have the basics to learn. I am too busy trying to get them ready for the next grade and worrying about where we are getting our next box of glue to indoctrinate them.
